The U15 Elma Express travelled to Tara this past weekend to compete in their annual Fastball Extravaganza Tournament. The Express outscored their opponents 34-10 going 4-1 over the 3 day event. They defeated Shakespeare & Kincardine to begin the tournament, before falling to host Tara on Sat evening. This set the stage for a rematch with Tara on Sun morning in the semi final. The Express came out firing on all cylinders, downing Tara 11-3, sending them to the championship game. The girls jumped out to an early lead against undefeated Arthur and never looked back, winning 10-1 to take home the gold.
